Ricksie Taylor Carroll
Ricksie Taylor Carroll, 94, died at her home Monday, January 14, 2019.
Mrs. Carroll was born in Northampton County, November 2, 1924, daughter to the late William and Johnnie Sue Ricks Taylor. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her husband, John Willis Carroll, her son, Freddie Rayford Carroll and her daughter Pricilla Carroll Dickens.
Surviving are her daughters, Glenda Carroll Roberts of Valentines, VA and Marty Carroll McDonald of Tarboro, NC and her son, Clyde W. Carroll and wife, Terry, of Wilmington, NC; 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her daughter-in-law, Beverly Watson Carroll.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Askew Funeral Service- Jackson Chapel from 5:30-7:00 pm. Rev. David Foster will conduct a funeral service Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 1:00 pm. at Galatia Baptist Church in Seaboard Interment will follow at the Conway Cemetery in Conway, NC.
